Double Dare

Double Dare, remember it? It was a competition show between two groups, I think families, I forget. But you had to compete in these obstacle style events around food and slime. At the end, the winning team has to go through the final course, which involves a time limit. I remember people having to dig in pools of mush for flags, climb inside this mouth and more.

I had a blast watching it and always wanted to compete. I always thought the contestants sucked and I could do better.

Oh yeah double dare was a fun show! Does nick even still do the slime thing?

I remember getting psyched when I saw prizes like an N64 or Gameboy color. I always wanted to go on the show, but never could get on. I lived close by too, so I always thought I'd be able to get in. Nope.

I wouldn't have been able to travel all the way down to NIckelodeon studios lol. I wish I got the chance. That would have been insanely fun.

That would have been a joy for me as a kid. I was a Nick boy back in the day.

But yeah, I remember double dare fondly. Especially when they brought it back as Double Dare 3000, or was it 2000? I forget. I would have loved to be on the show, or even in the audience.

Being abke to watch that live in person just once would have made my childhood.
