I remember it a bit, but rarely watched the show. I do remember having a Mighty Max action figure, or toy years back. I used to play with it so much the legs were nearly falling off.

dude the best last episode to any kids cartoon...they actually kill the main characters and virgil the bird goes darkside.I haven't seen it in awhile maybe that's not EXACTLY how it plays out- but ill post a link if i find it!
