The Wire is a crime drama about prisoners, the police and other criminal activity. I only watched the first season, but from what I saw, it was a truly powerful show for its time. I've been meaning to watch the whole series finally, but I've been putting it off for a while now. Who here is a fan of the show?
 
I've heard of it, but haven't watched it. I am tired of all the subscription services I need to watch some shows. I really don't want to be bothered with getting HBO Now, Go or their new streaming service just to watch it. But, maybe one of these days I'll get it and finally watch The Wire. I mean, I hear a lot of people saying it's the best show ever, so it must be important.
 
Never watched it. I've been told to check it out, but I don't know if it's a show for me.
 
It's highly rated. First season kinda slow for the first few episodes, but it peaks pace and becomes more intense as the season progresses. Also a realistic approach in portraying the Baltimore drug scene.
