Who all here used xfire? I usdd to use it all the time back from 2006-2010 ish. If you used it have any funny stories?

i used xfire from like 2005 until xfire closed down, lol. plenty of fun QSO's of how our enemies were ragin, lol. the great war vs endless led by ahtrun (sgt. pepper) and all that lol

Ahaha hell yeah. Lotta my memories on there were with Way of the Warrior and EJO. Once a clanmate was posting the lyrics to Virus Alert by Wierd Al and my stupid ass didn't know it was a song.

Hell yeah. I used Xfire from the early 2000’s until it closed like Ch’Pok. The gaming version of MSN Messenger ?

X-fire was seriously awesome for it's time. Pretty sure there was nothing else quite like it.

Until those idiots tried to turn it from a chatting platform into a competitive gaming service. Epic fail. They should have maintained the chat ability and incorporated the ESL style platform on top of it, while evolving in other areas too. Could have turned into what discord is now. But alas, discord is totally rad.

Yeah no shit. I must have missed that part because around 2011 ish none of my friends were even popping on there anymore. It had so much going for it too, like the customizable clan segments n stuff like that.
