I do alot of drinking around my apartment, and not being able to go out, made drinking at home lose its appeal a bit. We need to accept that covid is here to stay like the flu. Getting Covid isnt a death sentance and if you get covid, your body will produce antibodies so your more prepared for it in the future. All the precautions taken to "protect" us from Covid have done more damage than good. Its time to get on with our lives, if you dont wanna go outside because YOU'RE afraid then why dont YOU stay inside. Thats 100% where I stand at this point.

Heard recently that Texas opened some public establishments, and due to it, they had a spike in cases recently. I don't think that's a coincidence. I think we're reopening things way too fast. This is going to last much longer unfortunately.

If you do go out in public, at least wear a mask and gloves and take to social distancing measures.

Kinda feeling lied to by the media and goverment, South Dakota never did a lock down. They had 4 Covid-19 cases per 100,000 people, thats 4,468 cases, and 4,336 have recovered. This virus is more about control than anything, we know in sunlight the virus dies quicker, yet the state parks were closed for a period of time in wisconsin, while Wal-Mart gets to stay open. I myself have been working about 6 days a week during the shut down, never once did myself or any of my other essential friends get sick. Bars opened up last week ive been at a bar everyday since wedensday, the bar I go to is wayyy to crowded to social distance, no ones wearing masks, and we are all perfectly fine. If there are people out there that feel its not to safe to go out, then they can choose to stay in. I for one am going out, and living my life.

I also heard reports like that. I think you're right. Things haven't gotten better or slowed since it started.

I'm not suprised. What better tool to control people than their own ignorance and panic after all?

If coroana stays, yeah
There is no way Covid is going anywhere, eventually there will be a vaccine (probably in 2 years) in the meantime, we will just have to learn to live with it. However, the liklihood of mass deaths caused by covid are very unlikely. The majority of deaths caused by covid are elderly people, most of them had other health issues and covid was the thing that put them over the top. They tested the new yorkers who were covid 19 positive, 90% of New Yorkers who had covid, also had the anti bodies to fight against covid. I am glad that at least here in Wisconsin, Bars and Resturants are starting to open, I hope that as things start to open, more people begin to realize that Covid isnt as bad as the media was making it out to be.
