Hell yeah the terminator was kick ass. I almost picture Arnold saying one of his other lines randomly.
"GET TO DE CHOPPA"
"POOT THAT COOKIE DOWN"
"WHO SAID YOU COULD TOUCH MY COOKIES?!"

Another funny moment in Terminator cinema was in T2 when the Terminator is being taught how to smile. I’m fucking dying thinking about it.

Oh yeah you mean in Genesys? That was pretty funny hahaha! I saw it with my best friend when he came up. It was a fun flick.

No im talking Terminator 2.
But see what they have done. They have recycled the same stuff just in different packaging. I didn’t watch Genisys. Sadly I have no interest in watching that anytime soon.

Oohhh I didn't even know that was done once already oof.

He means this. It's a scene from the Special Edition. They reset his CPU, from Read Only to Read and Write, at the garage where they hid the security car after they helped Sarah escape from Pescadero State Hospital. By resetting his CPU he could become really smart. What John didn't anticipate was that it would cause him to disobey his orders. Which we see at the end of T-2 where he asked Sarah to terminate him and John ordered him not to. He did it anyway. There's also a few scenes where John gives him orders and he disobeys those too. Taking the CPU off of Read Only gave him free will.

Hahahah his smile feels so uncomfortably goofy and yet kind of charming too.

lol yeah. I think James Cameron and Arnold were aiming for it to have little emotion. He gets better when he picks up the mini gun. Uncle Bob starts mimicking John's grin.

Yeah that more sly grin kinda feels a bit more real but honstly he didn't really do a bad job the first time. It looks looks a tad off is all.

They made a Terminator game last year. It's called Terminator Resistance and you can download it off of PSN or Xbox LIVE or order a physical copy off of Amazon.

I never noticed that or made that association. You are a true fan!

Thank you. Yeah. I have watched those movies back to back. Probably my favorite scene was when Uncle Bob defied John's orders and wanted to be Terminated after his CPU had been switch to Read and Write.

After a while the T-800's will quit following orders and start making their own choices. Carl and Uncle Bob are the best known for doing that. In this part here, Uncle Bob was programmed to follow John's orders. But because John and Sarah reset his CPU, he's no longer compelled to obey John's orders and has free will. In the end, he made a choice to protect John and not because he was programmed to.

In the clip here. John is yelling " I order you not go, I order you not to go!" and we see Uncle Bob is not obeying him.

We see the same thing with Carl in Dark Fate that he made a choice to no longer follow Skynet's orders from the future and regrets killing John and has been helping Sarah kill the remaining T-800's from the future.

It’s guys like you that should be writing the sequels or prequels. The studios would still get what they want but the fans would benefit the most.

I felt like Dark Fate was trying to do that for the fans by bringing James Cameron (Who produced and directed T1 and T2 with his ex wife, Gale Ann Hurd), Linda Hamilton and Arnold Schwarzenegger back together. Dark Fate got really good ratings though. The only problem was it under performed in the box office. Because no one gave it the time of day. It was the Terminator 3 we never had. It was James Cameron's gift to Terminator fans and it wasn't appreciated. My brother has often slammed the film and doesn't like it. That's okay. But if you watch the sequels, they're alternate timelines. T1, T2, and Dark Fate are validated by James Cameron as the original Terminator time line. Genesys was it's own movie but heavily discussed about there being parallel and alternate time lines.

The T-3000 ( Skynet brainwashed John Connor) stated killing Sarah and Kyle wouldn't affect him being born because they came from different time lines and were marooned in another alternate time line where Skynet, according to him was supposed to have the least resistance. This is heavily evident in the first 2 movies as well as Skynet didn't exist in Sarah's time line in the first film when Skynet used the TDE in the first film to merge it's universe with another, by opening a worm hole and inserting a T-800 into 1984 of that present time. Skynet couldn't alter it's own past, it could alter a present timeline where it didn't exist.

Honestly this is such a perfect concept for a game I'm shocked they didn't think of this before.
