I think the shooting gallery type terminator games and arcades were as close as we came, but this is honestly cool.

Yea. It's a big step up from the older games....and it's a low budget game too. The weapons are really cool and the T-800's really pack some heat. You can use their weapons.

Its a low budget game? what was its budget? Also what are some of the kickass guns you get?

It was developed by a 3rd party Polish software company, called Teyon. But it's got regular ballistic guns like shotguns, small arms, and the classic 40 watt phased plasma rifle which comes with a few upgrade variants. Plus Teyon spiced it up and added some of their own ideas which were pretty impressive.

It’s hard to top this movie even today with astronomical budgets and much more advanced CGI technology. Part one and two are nothing short of emotional roller coasters.

A unique story, compelling characters, a love story, peak Arnold Schwarzenegger.

I will contribute this because its the stuff I listen to when i'm at work doing some mundane task....and also the stuff I like to listen to when I have to vacuum the house and things.
"Yo Star Wars, imma let you finish...but The Terminator soundtrack is one of the greatest of all time...."

Great OST, I would also start using this my background while working.

Apparently there is another Terminator film in the works. At least the big wigs are talking about it. They could always bring Arnold Schwarzenegger back since Sarah didn't kill all of his brothers (Other T-800 model 101's wondering around America) that were sent back in time to hunt down Sarah and John. I'm sure a lot of those models have found a new purpose, much like Carl did. The only reason why Carl fought against Legion was because of his wife and adopted son.

It even makes you wonder if the REV-9 from Dark Fate was the only REV 9 that was sent back in time. When Skynet did send more infiltration units, according to Dark Fate, Terminator 3, and the Sarah Connor Chronicles, it sent a multitude of T-800's back through time to hunt down John. The T-1000 models were scrapped early on in production. So not many were made. A lot of them were glitchy.

People ask this question a lot. The only reason why we only saw one, yes one T-1000, was because it was a discarded prototype. Yes, this one unit was loyal to Skynet. Skynet only made a handfull of them and had a huge dislike for the model series because most T-1000 models wouldn't follow orders due to them being too smart. Much like how Uncle Bob quit following orders. He grew too smart and could circumvent orders from his programming. So in other words. T-1000 was too buggy and it got scrapped.

There sure as hell would be quite alot of potential with a new movie but with covid who knows how long it'd be until something like that materialised?

I'm thinking maybe years down the road before they do another one since Dark Fate bombed at the box office. It gets a lot of heat and people think that T-1 and T2 are the only ones that anyone should watch. Time Travel is really hard to explain to a lot of people. A lot of people don't understand the idea of the time travel trope. They don't get it. It's very tricky to use in a film. A lot of people will say that they get it but then complain which means otherwise.

The Terminator movies rely on time travel tropes heavily. Which means, the sequels (T-3, T -Salvation, T- Genesys, and T-Dark Fate) weren't actually bad films. They are largely misunderstood because people don't understand Time Travel Tropes. People are still confused by some of the events that occurred in the film Avengers:Endgame because they used Time Travel as a plot device.

Of all the concepts in Speculative Fiction, Time Travel is probably the one that, over time, has provided us with the most possibilities for storytelling, and therefore the one that has been (clocked as having been) exploited the most. Whether you're casting a critical eye on the past, satirizing the present through a warped future, or just looking for an excuse to have dinosaurs rampaging through New York, time travel is the way to go. Or, possibly, the way to have been going. It's so hard to tell these days. Or those days. Or whatever. Or whenever. We tend to get grammatically confused when talking on this subject.

Also, try saying the name of this page ten times fast.

Even the tv tropes website validates that it confuses the hell out of an audience. It's actually a very complicated plot foundation to use in any film.
